Possibly Private 4857, Army Cyclist Corps. Killed in action 14th October 1915. Commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey. George Bailey was born and lived in York and enlisted in Leeds, he had previously served as 10802, West Yorkshire Regiment.

Gunner 69206, 152nd Siege Bty., Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 27th November 1918. Aged 24. Son of George and Hannah Croft, of Naburn, York. Buried Tourcoing (Pont-Neuville) Communal Cemetery, Nord, France, E. 2.

Hope, Alfred William
